Ecstasy cruisers, where did ya dock in Coz?

just wondering if anyone who has been on the ecstasy recently knew where it was usually docking in Cozumel or do you usually always have to tender in here still? thanks!!

I think we docked at the western dock. No I have not tendered on the Ecstasy. There are two docks, if you are on land facing them, we had the one on the left.

We went twice last year on Ecstasy, and we were at the Punta Lagosta Pier in Oct and the International Pier back in May.

 

I guess that doesn't help does it? ;)

 

It seems like lately it's been the Punta Lagosta Pier. I've had freinds go since then that docked there too. But of course things change depending on the number of ships in port.

 

On cozumelinsider.com they show them using the Punta Lagosta pier this week.

is there anything to do right by punta lagosta or do you have to ride the taxi to go everywhere?

Both piers are within eye sight of each other, easy walking distance. Lots of shops between them. If you walk straight back from the square and turn left past a washing clothes place next door is an inexpensive cyber cafe, about $3/hour. There was a store which would give you a free 4 minute phone call for any purchase, so we bought a ceramic $5 frog drinking beer. Plenty of places to drink and eat. The ruins are not close, they are quite far and an all day trip, but you can do other things.

This may sound silly but last Feb(06) there was not a pier to dock at for us.

 

I thought this had something to do with Hurricane Wilma.

 

We had to tender.

thanks for all the good info, we docked at punta lagosta on the celebration on 04, so I know where that is!! June 11th can't come quick enough!! Can't wait to have fun and relax at Paradise Beach!!

In January the Ecstasy tendered to Puerta Maya.

 

In March the Ecstasy docked at Punta Langosta.

"Al pairo" means "tendering"...
