Airport taxi?

Can someone tell me how much a taxi is from FLL airport to the Miami port? Trying to decide if we use Carnivals shuttle or not. $30 pp seems a little high.:confused:

A taxi would be around $70, its over 25 miles/45 mins...I think there are some shuttle services that are cheaper.

There is a shuttle provided by the airport to Port Everglades but I have no idea how long it takes or if there is a fee.

The Tri-County Airport Express Shuttle is $18 per person. A metered taxi runs between $75-$85 for the 45 minute ride (not per person)

Tri-county was $64.00 to the port from Ft.Lauderdale.(plus tip), $75.00 from the port to airport.I paid $18.00 and got on the bus back to FLL.

Bequia: Are you saying that it is only $18pp from FLL to Miami airport using Tri-County Shuttle? Do they run 24/7? I don't need to make ressies in advance?
