3 Night Coast Cruise on Amsterdam-Formal?

I am planning my packing - we're sailing LA to Vancouver on the Amsterdam. First time on HAL and looking forward to it.

 

Will there be a formal night on a three night cruise? Would like to pack light but it would still be fun to have one night dressy!

I would think so. We were on the Zaadam 3 night (San Diego to Vancouver) sailing earlier this month and the second night was formal.

 

Many people chose not to bring formalwear including two couples at our table so the dining room was about 25-30% empty that night.

Thank you - no we don't have our docs yet. I guess we won't get them for at least a week - I was wondering where I'd find that information. Our friends are on the cruise by coincidence and this their first cruise. They don't want to dress for formal night. We love getting all dolled up.

I have read here that others who have done the 3 or 4 coastal cruises do have 1 formal evening.
