Tortola Question..

I know they'll be Taxis near the pier to go to Cane Garden Beach, but does anybody know specificly if there are taxis who'll atke you to other beaches, (Long Bay, or somewhere on the secluded west side).. I'm not taking about taking a taxi tour, but just a taxi to go to a specific beach ..

 

Anybody know if the taxi do this ... or do they only want to pack people in for the Island Tours and Cane Garden Beach ??

srpilo .... Know FOR SURE taxi drivers at the pier will take you anyplace you wish ....

 

My aunt & uncle were with us on a cruise last year and they took a taxi from the cruise dock in Tortola to the house of some friends. (They didn't want their friends to pick them up in case we were late docking, etc. ) Their friends drove them back to the ship so it was a one-way taxi ride and they had no problem doing it.

 

Wish we could help more with rates, etc. -- but, after we were sure they had a taxi ... it was time for our excursion.
