gingernut9999 Posted June 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2004 great photos! i've just booked for QE2 next year, and have been wondering what's changed. Can the sunbeds in the new 'funnel bar' area still be reserved at a charge (used to be about $17 or so) for the length of your cruise? /Donna

cruise44 Posted June 9, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2004 Thanks for the pictures. It is too bad that they putthe funnel bar grill where the reserved deck chairs used to be. That area was the onyl place you could sit outside on a traditional North Atlantic day, but i guess they have no need for that anymore.
Crouton Posted June 9, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2004 Trashy bits aside, your photos really bring out the unique beauty of the QE2. I especially like how the lifeboats pick up the funnel color in "QE2 Funnel in Oslo." I also think Rusty Bulkhead, and the Decks brothers (Dirty and Scummy), would be great characters in a seafaring novel.
