Are there any resorts near Puerto Limon offering day passes?

There are no resorts near Puerto Limon! The Caribbean coast is very undeveloped. There are some very small, casual, laid back hotels. A couple near Puerto Limon and others further down the coast.

Boo's Mom .... There is a beach close to Limon called PLAYER BONITA. You can get there by cab for $5 pp. (It's a bit rustic but has a bar.) Do check with some of the bar staff on the ship before going! At one time MANY of the crew would go there. On our trip this year they did not recommend it so we didn't go! We always trust the opinions of the crew on the beaches they favor or avoid. :rolleyes:
