Newark Airport - Buying Wine

We are flying into Newark. Does anyone know if there is a liquor store at the airport? We'd like to buy a couple of bottles of wine to take on our cruise but don't want to pack it in our checked luggage.

The only "liquor stores" at EWR are the Duty Free stores. But you must be traveling internationally to use those and they are only for flights departing from EWR.

 

There are plenty of liquor stores around. You didn't say which port you're sailing out of, but irregardless if it is Manhattan, Bayonne, or Red Hook there are little neighborhood liquor stores every few blocks (especially in Manhattan).
