What's YOUR cure for Post Cruise Depression??

I bore everyone I know by going on about my cruise ad nauseum. :eek:

For the first 2 weeks after we are home, my DH goes "today they are doing this or going here". Too funny.

 

I found myself doing that for atleast the first week. It didn't help to know that some friends of ours were on a B2B while we were at home pouting.

 

It's hard when reality sets in, and you realize that this is more than a long stay in port. Suddenly standing in line for the tender to leave Labadee doesn't sound too bad.

Always make sure you have another cruise booked before you disembark....then you can NEVER have POST cruise depression because you will instantly be in PRE cruise excitement!

 

I have told DH that there is no way I am getting off Radiance in Jan 08 without another cruise booked.....end of story!!!!;)

I've tried to train DH to say "pleasure, madame" every time I ask him to do something, but it doesn't work...

 

 

LOL!!:D :D It just isn't the same, is it?? Tell your dh that it won't work if he isn't cooperative!! Tell him that if YOU aren't happy then HE won't be happy...:D ;)

...we did just that and have been cruising year round. The little weekend trips (3/4 nights) help ease the pain and then we try to book a 7 day cruise each year as well. I have several countdowns going on my calendar at work and all the people I work with think I am a little nuts because my entire vacation for 08 is all mapped out down to the last vacation day. The weeks between each cruise, we head out on our own boat and pretend we are just practicing for the "real thing". Of course the room service and buffet line are not quite up to snuff on our little slice of paradise (although the bathroom is about the same size!!!)....but whatever works to make it through the day :)
