thrifty shuttle at pier 48

does thrifty run a shuttle from pier 66 to pier 48. do you have to call them or do they just drive a continuous loop

Yes, they do, and when you check in at their counter at Pier 66, they will call for a ride (actually, it is coming and going most of the time). By the way, even if you had to walk to Pier 48, it's not that far at all.

As the previous poster said, it's not that far -- but I wouldn't have wanted to walk it with the amount of luggage we had. We only did it going the opposite direction, having picked up our rental at the airport, returning it to pier 48 and needing to get to pier 66, but it worked out just great.

Do any of you know if Avis has a shuttle? TIA

I just used the Thrifty shuttle, it runs continously. Pick up is a right hand turn out the building.
