Starting a cruise off with a roar..

Well even with flight delays today made it to the rad in coco beach at about 7:15 pm and dropped the bags off and made it out to the front of the hotel for a sight of the space shuttle taking off wow what a way to start the cruise on the glory in the morning

It really is an awesome sight, isn't it? We lived in Daytona for awhile & used to drive our car onto the beach & lay on the hood to watch. Yes, certainly a great start to a cruise!:D

The space shuttle took off tonight? Wouldn't have known that if you hadn't posted, it's all Paris Hilton all the time on the news right now.

We almost had an opportunity to see a liftoff two years ago, and they kept on moving the launch date.

 

I've YET to see one. :(

I have been waiting a long time for the chance. Living in california before they changed the landing pattern, we used to watch the reentry over us and see the bright plasma trail it left . But now I got to see a launch and in a few hours will be on the glory.
