Baggage handling post-cruise

Recommended Posts

Its similar as in any other port. You will simply claim your luggage in the terminal building. Its just a short walk to the door where there is an adjacent taxi stand. A taxi to anywhere in the city will take about 10 min.

suntanzi,

Yes. On the last night, you need to pack and then put your your luggage (keep a bag for your night-time stuff and valuables, essentially what would be your carry-on for the flight) outside your cabin door by midnight. You will get color-coded tags to put on them. The color signifies what sequence you get off in the morning. If you do not have a flight and are not in a suite, you will be one of the last groups to go.

When you are called, you will leave the ship and go into the terminal/customs area. The bags will be grouped by the colored tags for you to claim.

We're doing the same thing next spring. We get off the Brilliance on a Thursday and won't leave Barcelona until Saturday. Really looking forward to that.
