cheche01 Posted July 28, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted July 28, 2007 What kind of game shows does Celebrity have and do they have different kind of music? Rare hcat Posted July 28, 2007 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2007 If you are a big Quest fan Celebrity may not be best for you. They do have the Newlywed & not so newlywed game---
bububr Posted July 28, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 28, 2007 On the last Zenith cruise we were on this year they did play a cleaned up version of it in one of the lounges. It only lasted about 30 minutes. I won't say much about it except they DID include the 'finale' part with only two participants, and they were really sorry looking. On the other hand I have NEVER seen it on any other ships. Dave:eek: hcat: As for the Newlywed........game. After seeing it over ten times, its no longer a game show but a schedule of set jokes that the participants are told to answer. It all seems the same now unless somone has REALLY great delivery. They had the newlywed game but that was about it. They didn't do majority rules, qwest, or the other games RCL usually does in their secondary lounge after the main show. It's a more sedate crowd. That said, they DID do karaoke one night and it was incredibly well attended. So much so that they did it each night for the rest of the cruise. The entertainment was similar to RCL but the shows were not as "current" in or experience. The musical review had mostly songs from Mame, Will Rogers Follies and the like. Rare Lois R Posted July 30, 2007 #7 Share Posted July 30, 2007 Hi,:) I have seen my share of Karaoke and you can get very well attended shows. I think it just depends on the particular sailing. I am trying to remember what ship I was on...Zenith..yes, the lounge was on the other side of the Martini Bar. It was packed and there was a guy singing "Fly Me To The Moon" and he had a wonderful voice and at the end of the song he got down on one knee, took a ring out of his pocket and proposed to his girlfriend. It was a great scene...and she said YES:D

He was;) ....they had been together for over 5 years (if memory serves closer to 10)....they were at a dinner table near me. I decided to send them each a glass of bubbly the next evening. It was nice:) I can't sing either but sometimes I do enjoy watching....
