How do you pronounce the port names of Manzanillo, Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa? Perhaps someone can help this old gringo out by showing a phonetic spelling

 

Here goes - Man-zah-knee -yo, Zee-who-ah-tan -a(long a)-knee -ho and Ee-zap-ah. At least that's as close as we've gotten and we both speak (a little) Spanish.

Manzanillo- manz-ah-knee-yo

 

Zihuatanejeo- zee-wanta-neigh-ho

 

Ixtapa- ix-tap-ah
