DLaForce Posted September 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2007 Does anyone have any info on this cabin. Location? Size? Bed arrangement? On the Princess website it states that balcony rooms can be between 235 and 285 sq feet. We have two small children (4 & 6) and this was the only cabin available. Toto2Kansas Posted September 13, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2007 What deck is your cabin located on? About the size of the staterooms. The interior of the room will be the same size no matter which deck you are on. The difference is in the size of the balcony itself. Princess counts balcony square footage in the actual sqare footage of the cabin. So, the actual cabin will be much smaller then the measurements you have posted. DLaForce Posted September 13, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted September 13, 2007 It is on the Caribe deck.
UT-Volsfan Posted September 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2007 On the Crown, Emerald, and Caribbean Princess the Caribe balconies are the most desired ones to get. The balconies are twice the size of the other decks (believe they are around 9' x 9') and are half covered, half uncovered (best of both worlds). The actual cabin will be around 200 sq. ft. And you'll be located midship which should make for a smooth ride.
Pam in CA Posted September 13, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 13, 2007 Standard balcony cabins are essentially the same size inside regardless of deck. Caribe deck balcony cabins are desired (and more expensive) because they have the larger balcony that is half-uncovered, half-covered. Other than the balcony size, there is little difference between standard balcony cabins and layouts regardless of the deck.
