Anyone Have Photos From Their Cruises on the "Old" Ships?

A post in another thread got me curious, and I'd love to see some photos people took on some of the first Carnival ships, or other ships "back in the day" when a 27,000 ton ship seemed huge. If such a thread already exists, I'd love a link. My only cruising experience prior to the Celebration in 1998 was on a one day cruise to the Bahamas in 1986 on something like Sea Escape - not totally sure of the name. I wish I had taken lots of photos, because I don't really remember any of it. I DO remember that I was 14 and they let me gamble in the casino, and I had a margarita with my dad. My, how times have changed!

Anyway, I'd love to see some photos from the Carnivale, Mardi Gras, and other ships from that era!

I was on the Carnivale in 1988. I will have to scan my pictures if you want to see them. I love how you said "back in the day", that sounds like it was so long ago. Well, for me it was 19 years and that really is not that long ago, but when you consider all the changes that have been made, it really is "back in the day". Ships as long as three football fields, that weigh 110 tons, computers, digital cameras and so much more. And the newest ship the Splendor, will be even larger.
