hokalier Posted October 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Hello!! Quick question......I am considering booking one of the aft balconies on the Glory. It is my understanding the balconies are slightly larger than the ones on the sides of the ships. Is this true? Are these desirable balconies? I had read somewhere that sometimes they are smokey from the smoke stacks? Any info would be greatly appreciated......thank you very much!!!! :)
Luluwa Posted October 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Yes they are desirable balconies and are larger and provide wonderful views, I wouldn't hesitate to book one. I never heard of one pulling in smoke.

Chuggiebug Posted October 23, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2007 2 weeks ago were in a deck 8 aft wraparound. It was a spectacular cabin. A huge balcony adn you could see the side and the rear. You have to bokk them early or they are gone. Unless someone cancels after final payment due to a new job like our son and daughter had to do.They wre supposed to be on the opposite corner from us and 6 weeks before sailing had to cancel. can'twaittacruise Posted October 24, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2007 We've had aft cabins twice on the Glory. It is our favorite place on the ship. Yes, the balcony is almost twice as big as those on the sides. There is less privacy, but a lot more fun.
Hogladyrider Posted October 24, 2007 #6 Share Posted October 24, 2007 We just sailed Glory in Sept and had our first aft balcony and loved it. There are some photos of the balcony in my signature link. It will be really difficult to return to a regular balcony. We were on the Empress deck and had no problems with anything on our balcony. We did not have a 9A aft wrap, too pricey for us, the regular worked just fine!
