Carnival was very helpful!!!

Depending on the circumstances, they can be very helpful.

When I booked for this past September (a year prior) I had to do it with another last name since our marriage wasn't until this year.

When my passport was updated, I called my PVP to change the reservation name. She did so - but had to call to tell me that her supervisor wanted to charge me to change the name. My PVP was *so* not having that since it was due to marriage!

She, of course, got it straightened out - but thought it was a hoot and had to share with me (she and I get along very well and keep in touch quite a lot during the year). It was kind of funny!

I have had to change the guest name in one of our cabins for our upcoming Glory cruise 2 times. I asked them nicely to do it as a "courtesy to a past cruiser" they did it at no charge and were very helpful.

You were lucky, those name changes usually run $50. each.
