RCCL beach towels

Good Morning:

We were on the Liberty November 10th and they no longer put beach towels in your room. You have to go to the pool deck and sign them out. It was a big pain in the butt. They didn't start signing them out till 8:00am. Because they now use the "Royal Caribbean" towels, they said they no longer leave in the room, you have to sign them out so if you don't return, you get charged for how many you signed out. This was a problem for a few people who said they returned their towels and got a charge on their VISA.

Not sure if they are doing this fleet wide but this is how it was on Liberty.

Happy Holidays!

On our Enchantment cruise, they left us two of the yellowish towels in our cabin on the first day. Are these the towels they charge $20 for? We had a hard time getting them replaced by the steward, she'd take them, but then we'd have to go ask for more, she wouldn't leave fresh ones.

On every cruise we have ever been on we got the beige towels in the room which were replaced daily. On Liberty at Thanksgiving, we got nicer Royal Caribbean Towels but you had to check them out and return them by the end of the cruise. You could exchange them as often as you needed to. If they were not returned, you were charged $25.00. This will probably discourage towels being left behind at Labadee and Towels left unattended for hours by the chair hogs on deck. This was the way I did my christmas shopping this year, chair hogs found their towel gone. LOL.
