Hi Brandy, B/F (30) and I (28) are right at the same age as you guys, glad to hear you had a good time even with the "geriatrics" on board! Mullet lady and speedo guy were hysterical!! I see you guys have the same sense of humor we do!! Your review was AWESOME!!!!:cool: We are going on the Miracle on Jan 2 and I was afraid since it is Wednesday to Thursday I was going to be surrounded by the walker/wheelchair/cane crowd on board...however, we have a pretty rowdy thread roll call going on now...so I think b/t that and your review we are going to have an awesome time!!

 

Thanks so much for the EXCELLENT review, pics and capers! Just a few more weeks of winter for me!!!:)

She booked the cave tubing with Yhony at cave-tubing dot com. We used him in '06 and will be with him again in '08.

Thanks again everyone for the encouragement! I didnt think it would be such a hit! Although I hoped because that sucker took a LONG TIME! :D ;)

 

Cave-tubing.com - those boys are FABULOUS! And, if you find people on the boat that arent signed up and they want to go to, you can bring them along. The more the merrier with them, and they can handle it! They rocked. Cant speak highly enough about those guys.

If you see them tell Richard, Timmy and Bernand that Brandy - the girl they had to pull the bus over so she could pee - says hi!

DJ - yup...you couldnt tell by the horns and peace signs I throw up in all my pics huh? LOL! Yeah the band is no more. Its all good though. The music scene in Tallahassee sucks hardcore right now. It happened at a good time.

Well that stinks Brandy, so your just hanging out thats about it, you must sing here and there on your own right, I have a friend whos band broke up a few months ago, because the lead singer decided to move to Myrtle Beach, but he still plays his guitar by himself......

 

Yeah it was hard to tell you were a rocker chick, whatever you call youself lol, because of your cruise pics how you looked all nice and stuff loll......

 

But yeah so hows the weather in FL today......

 

19 days till I'm in Fort Laud.........:D

Yeah, my b/f was in a band too..everyone says that we clean up nice! :D

I still do karaoke here and there, but thats about it. I also sang with a band at a friend's wedding. When they recognized who I was (OMG, I knew I recognized you...Brandy from the_aUdience right?) they asked me to jam with them. Im sure if I felt the need I could start jamming with some peeps, but for now Im enjoying not having to go to band practice and out of town every weekend.

Well the weather in Ft. Laud is probably a little different then it is up here in Tally....it was about 40 when I was going to work today. It will probably get up to around 70 and then shoot back down when the sun goes away. Its really nice in the afternoons though. Feels like spring time.

Thats cool that you guys clean up well, u'd never know if someone didn't know you guys lolll, Id just think of you guys as normal everyday people, hey its true, people have no clue what you do for a living after you wear your street clothes around or get dressed up in work attire.....

 

I rem going on other cruises back in the day, and I thought it was cool to dress up for dinner in the dining room every night, but now I'm like what ever, I could careless because I wear a shirt and tie Mon thru Fri, so its no thrills for me then........

 

Its kinda funny I have a friend that is coming up from Oralndo to visit his fam in Ct, the weather in Fl is amazing compared to the waether here in Ct, Last year I was there in Jan and I rem it being 80 out and then I came home to Ct and it was 10 out and we got 8 in of snow grrrrr I say......... Hopefully one day I'll move to Fl after I get my law degree.....

New member here (will be cruising the Miracle in March 2008) and I had one little question. Carnival's website sucks as to details about the ship and restaurants, etc., unless I am blind and missing something...so I was just wondering if the sushi restaurant is included in the cruise price. I remember thinking on our first cruise (Holland America Zuiderdam) that all the little food places were included, until we tried to order at the specialty coffee shop and coffees were not included. Thanks!

Welcome to CC Hudson!

Sushi is TOTALLY free. They offer 3 different rolls every night and you get to choose from those and basically get as much as you want. We would usually get 2 of each kind and then if we wanted to, went up for 1-2 more of each! No problem! The sushi bar is open usually from 5:30-8:30 every night except for the first formal night. Its not really a restaurant as much a little stand thats outside the casino and the sports bar on deck 2. There is a pic (kinda) in my review of what the stand looked like with the guy that was serving the sushi.

The specialty coffee shops on board arent free on Carnival either. But the cappucino and espresso in the dining room is! So is the hot tea.

 

DJ - yeah, there were people on our boat that had to go back to that crazy snow storm that happened in Missouri and up there. I couldnt imagine having to get on a plane in 80 degree sunny florida and then get off the plane to crap loads of snow and no power.

We dressed up most nights, but I did wear nice jeans with nice tops 3 times. Lex only wore jeans the last night, he just got a bunch of new nice clothes and wanted to wear them :D

Your telling me lolll, thats how I felt a few years ago, crappy New England weather I tell you, I'd love to live in Fl and golf all year long, the good thing is I can always go visit the grandparents in West Palm bc they are down there in the winter months..... :D So you a legal asst. for a lawyer I'm guessing right lolllll, that must be cool......

 

I'm kinda excitied bc i'll be on the Miracle in 20 days from today.......

The best part of being in FL is I can cruise out of SO many places. I have 5 places in Florida alone and then since Im in Tally, theres NOLA and Mobile in driving distance too!

Yeah, legal assistant for a lawyer, it has its moments.

Man I wish I was cruising again in 20 days. We like cruising in the beginning of December, but having to wait the whole year kills us. Especially since we already have our next cruise picked out!

:D That must be so cool to have all those ports so close to you, so how far is Tally to Fort Laud anyways, I so hate driving anywhere loll, the most I'll go in a car is to Maryland and that about it, I fly all the time to Fl and to Myrtle Beach .....

I know you guys love the Miracle too, I had a blast on her in May myself, then my parents booked her too, Well they booked before me and I booked after them, Ill take a free cruise anyday, I did pay for the one in May by myself, just wondering how much did u guys pay for your room, I rem I think I payed like 850 or around there and had the same room as you..... that was out of NY City too,Just wondering thats all, ur the best thanks.......:D

Brandy, thanks so much for the review. We will be on the Miracle in March to do this same itinerary. I linked your review to our roll call for everyone to read. It's probably one of the best reviews that I've read on CC. It really gives a good feel for the cruise experience. Thanks again.:D
