jreeves628 Posted December 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2007 I booked a balcony cabin on the Explorer for my Bermuda cruise. What side of the ship should I book my cabin if I want to have a view of the port while I am in Kings Wharf? -Jessica
Sue L Posted December 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2007 They pull in different ways on different sailings so don't make yourself crazy about which side to book on. I had a starboard side room and the 3 previous sailings to ours all faced starboard to the port and then ours we were the other way and we had a ocean view. Both are gorgeous. Answer: It is Captains discretion as to which side faces Kings Wharf. We sailed on Eos Nov. 4th and our port side faced the island. While the cruise before us, port side faced Kings Wharf. cb at sea Posted December 12, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 12, 2007 Don't worry about the view--whatever you see from your balcony will beat what you see at home by a mile!!!!! Sometimes, the view of the water and the surroundings can be better than the view of the pier! More privacy, too!
PhoenixCruiser Posted December 12, 2007 #6 Share Posted December 12, 2007 While on the Jewel last year the starboard side faced Bermuda: Both views are beautiful! ###
