First Sea Trials for Independence in January

For those of us following the progress of the Independence of the Seas, the first ever sea trials for her are scheduled for January 08.

Very cool to read a blog from the actual Captain himself. First Radio's pictures of the Liberty's Captain onboard surfing on the Flow Rider and now this blog. It's really nice to see how down to earth these Masters of the largest cruise ships in the world are.

The Indepence of the Seas is scheduled to go on sea trial January 20th @ 22.00 local time, if the weather is suitable.

Yes I heard about that also.:D

 

Funny thing it was reported that the sea trials last Friday were cancelled...but RCCL and Seatrade actually reported that the first sea trials did actually go ahead on Friday...geez talk about confusing :confused:
