Poker ?????????

Does Oceania have a Poker table in their Casinos?..I am referring to Hold'em, Stud or Omaha 8.:)

I cannot speak to Oceania, but I cannot recall ever seeing a poker table on any of the many cruises I have taken. I have been on the R ships and the casino I was in was not nearly large enough for a poker table. I really prefer poker over most every other form of gambling, which is why I noticed!

 

I'll be interested to hear from someone who really knows for sure, though.

:) Regent, Silver Seas and HAL ships all have Hold'em tables now. I have been on them in 2007. The Poker table on Regent Navigator was especially popular. The popularity varies greatly with each cruise I expect....R.

Hello AWED23,

 

When we were on Insignia in April, the only poker available was the casino friendly:eek: 3 card table. So, no, there was no "real" poker available.

I may need to start a new thread but thought I would try here.

 

What about Blackjack? How many tables, what are the min and max bets, how many decks are dealt and do they hit soft 17? HA can you tell we like blackjack?

 

On most of the ships now we just do alot of reading and save the blackjack for Las Vegas or the river boats. The poker tables are great when you can find them and get on the table.

On an Insignia cruise this summer there was a group that played poker in the card room in the evenings. They used chips and I would guess that they played for rather low stakes. I do not think that they were given any trouble.

In 2007 we sailed on a Princess ship from Vancouver to Anchorage. There was a poker table in the casino. I did not play at that time so I did not try it out. I am pretty sure they were playing holdem. It was not a mega ship as passenger were 1,600-1,800.

Steve- Did they bring their own chips/cards or were both avail on ship?

We were just on the Nautica and they had a 3 card poker table. There were other tables - like blackjack and roulette but not sure of the min/max bets.
