Anyone have suggestions for good hotels in the Los Ramblas area in Barcelona?

 

Best way of booking (directly with hotel online or Expedia, Trip Advisor?)

we stayed in a very nice Bed and Breakfast very close to the Las Ramblas. The name is called "The 5rooms". You have to go the their website The5rooms.com. and take it from there. The owners name is Yessica. I hope this helps.

The Meridien right on Las Ramblas - we booked it through the cruise line. (RCCL)

We stayed at a Westin near Las Ramblas. I don't think it was cheap.

 

Side Story:

I remember my father teasing my mother about how she had to pick an expensive place and her saying that she wasn't staying in some dive in a foreign country where her children would be unsafe! lol- they are fun to travel with. BTW - her children were 18 & 22 at the time lol.
