deb18 Posted February 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2008 These boards have given me a wealth of knowledge (some taken with a grain of salt I must add) that I am able to cruise confidently now. I have a ?. If you prebook a shore excursion, but change your mind, either about the excursion or the cruise, what happens to the booking? Can you recoup your monies? Thank you in advance. deb
Rare uktog Posted February 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2008 When you are on board ship there is a published cancellation deadline for excursions, if you cancel before then and have prepaid the money will be recredited to your on board account. Same applies if the cruiseline cancels and excursion late on A
Lsimon Posted February 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2008 If you cancel your cruise booking the excursion will automatically be canceled and your credit card refunded. If you cancel the excursion on-line you'll get a credit card refund. If you do it once on-board you will get a credit to your on-board account as long as you do the cancellation before the closing time, as uktog indicated. Closing time is generally in the evening the second day before the excursion but could vary so make sure you find the printed time or ask if you're considering canceling late.
