texswamper Posted March 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2008 Has anyone spent their time in St. Kitts snorkeling at Dieppe Bay. I have done some internet research that talks about the reef just off shore and good for snorkeling, but I haven't seen anybody talking about going there. I would love to hear some thoughts on the beach, facilities and snorkeling. Anyone?
paul58 Posted March 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2008 The beach at Dieppe Bay is a black sand beach. There are no facilities there to support your snorkeling. The Golden Lemon Inn is located there. In my trips to St Kitts I have not really heard of anyone snorkeling there.
texswamper Posted March 22, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted March 22, 2008 Thanks for your reply. So, since you don't recommend Dieppe Bay, where would you recommend for snorkeling and an uncrowded beach?
paul58 Posted March 22, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2008 An uncrowded beach would probably be the far end of South Friars Beach. There is some facilities there. There has been some serious beach erosion the last few days on both St Kitts & Nevis.
Peace2U Posted April 6, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2008 The beaches on the north part don't seem to be very user-friendly. I think your best bet would be something on the south part.
