We just got upgraded to BA cabins on the Spirit...cabin numbers 11096 & 11098 fwd to be exact. Does anyone have any input on these cabins...pictures.

Any info would be greatly appreciated...expecially on the balcony. (Never had a balcony cabin before)

they should look like the photo i attached, unless they have new bedspreads by then? all the balconies look alike...

as i look at the deck plans, they seem to be right at the mid-ship elevators..it will be easy to get around/to everywhere. hope being under the pool doesn't bother you. it shouldn't, that area gets quiet after 9pm.

enjoy your balcony, they are habit forming.

this photo is on spirit cabin 9636, but like said...all the balconies look alike. your adjoining door will be over by the TV area.

have a great cruise

Thank you Toyz for the pic's...they are great. I have a really stupid question....our BA cabins were actually upgrades from BD. When my TA called yesterday she was SO EXCITED about the upgrade...if the balcony cabins are all the same, why was she makign it seem that the new cabins were so much bigger as well as the balconies being bigger? Just curious. Is the 11th floor much better then the 9th??

location, location, location...

the higher levels are desired. there are no mini-suites, on the spirit...so getting an offer for an upgrade, makes BAs the top draw. i was hoping for a upgrade from our BD, but the location made our cabin great..no inside cabins across the hall from us, less hall traffic was nice.

i have never had a upgrade or upsell offer...SO enjoy yours, i think you will like the location.

1 floor up for buffet, pools, spa/gym and the main lounge. down 3 flights for the asian dining venus and the shops, down another flight for the main lobby, blue lagoon, casino, theater, cagney's and le bistro. down another flight for the main dining rooms. (we used the stairs for the whole week!)

AB cabins would be larger, not the BA cabins.

Are you sure either you or her weren't confused, and got the letters backwards?

They are definatly BA's....don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled with the upgrade, just didn't understand why looking online they seemed to be the same but the TA saying they were bigger.

Just FYI for everyone, I was on the NCL website yesterday and saw that the price of a balcony stateroom had dropped to $999. I emailed my TA to see if she could get me a rate reduction or some kind of onboard credit. She wasn't able to get the refund or onboard credit, but she was able to get me the upgrade.

and yes...I did have my luggage tags and edoc's all sent to me already from my TA....now I won't be getting new luggage tags so I'll have to print both the luggage tags and edocs from the NCL website.

Does anyone know what color the tags should be for the 11th floor? or should I just do them on white paper?

white paper is fine, that's how they should be printed. OR you can wait and get some from the porters at the docks. i know that in new orleans the porters had pocket fulls.

knowing how hard it is to get upgrades for their clients, your TA was just so excited they got the size (of cabin) wrong. it's nice that your TA went to bat for you and got the upgrade.

remember, you only need to print up the ticket pages and luggage tags of the edocs, you don't have to use all the paper and ink to print the whole thing.

Ours are a light blue, kinda like the wink smilies. ;) Our cabin is 11530. Thats deck 11, Forward, Port Side. We leave for NOLA in 6 days for our repo cruise on the Spirit. We'll be sure to take good care of her for you.:D
