Which room to book?

We are looking to book tonight for a 4 day cruise in May. Only a few rooms left. We want Ocean View for the daylight (balcony is too expensive on this cruise). Have only been on 1 cruise several years ago.

 

The only rooms left are very back of ship and one room kind of toward the middle front. Am leaning toward that room as people have said that toward the middle you are less likely to get sea sick. It is right by an elevator though. Will this be very noisy? Any thoughts?

They say to have a cabin in the middle of the ship and on a lower deck. But I have stayed in the front of the ship and I have had no problems.

Not sure if you are on a Fantasy class ship but this cabin has port holes so you do get daylight, call and ask if they have any avaliable, check this Elation Cabin review with pictures:

Thanks for the replies. Just booked U62 on Ocean View Upper Deck on Inspiration. Hope this room is okay. Any thoughts? Thanks, newbie here.

we were in M21 on Fantasy, and it was nice, but 2 port hole windows. Nice window area to store suitcase in though.

 

on Sensation we were in e236. Very nice cabin.

I think you will be happy in any of the rooms as long as you are on the ship and not home at work.

Lower middle cabins have the least movement, but on any deck, the middle cabins fare better than on the ends. I like being close to elevators and stairs - very convenient.
