Best hotel near JFK?

I have to spend my last night of Summit transatlantic on December at JFK. Any suggestions.

Crowne Plaza, JFK-the best, IMHO.

 

The Doubletree and Courtyard by Marriott are also nice.

 

Stay away from the Comfort Inn and Ramada. LOTS of riff raff wandering the halls the couple times I stayed there. Made me wonder if it wasn't a NYC welfare hotel.

Hi, I just asked Mr. Got. He is a Detective Sergeant with the Port Authority Police, at JFK. His reply to Greatam -- Your observations are right on. And correct. Stay away from the Comfort Inn and Ramada.
