Mary Jane 711 Posted September 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2004 Maybe this is a dumb question, but I am going to ask it anyway. On our cruise papers it says when we go thru Panama Canal, "cruising only", I assume this means we have to stay on the ship. Also, no excursions are offered. I really wish we could have done some of the excursions..like aerial tramway... Anyone know?:)
Nitemare Posted September 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2004 That's probably what it means -- no excursions. If you want info about a specific cruise or cruiseline you'll get the best answers here at Cruise Critic by asking the question on the board dedicated to the cruiseline. Host Caroline Posted October 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2004 If you are doing a complete transit of the canal you don't want to miss it! It's a great day of "cruising only" as you go up and down through the locks. If you have never done this itinerary, I'd stay on ship even if any tours were offered! skiiergirl Posted October 4, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2004 Host caroline....You took the words right out of my mouth. lol For those that have never done this itinerary before, I whole heartedly agree....stay on the ship even if you have a choice of getting off!
