Crab legs/seafood restaurant at ports

Is there any good restaurant for crab legs or seafood at Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway? Which port has the best one or can I have it on the Coral princess? any recommendation is appreciated, thank you.

Don't put your hopes on your cruise ship for Alaskan seafood.

 

Remember seafood in Alaska is seasonal. Also a great deal of it is shipped far out of state before the local folk get a chance to put a fork into it.

Not sure what month you are going, but there is a place for all you can eat dungess crab in the summer months at the top of Mt. Roberts.

not sure of the price, I contacted them and they told me they will not know until June the cost of the crabs.

We are doing this in July! yum, yum!:D

Thanks for the information. We will go to the cruise from May 12. It seems the resturant in the Mt.Robert will not opened yet.

We were amazed, but the Alaskan silver salmon served on the Island Princess last month was excellent.

In Juneau, right by the library, there is an outdoor stand that cooks fresh crab legs as you order them. They also have the best crab bisque I've ever eaten. If it's a pretty day, you can order and then eat at their picnic tables right outside. I don't remember the name, but you can't miss it! The price and taste are both excellent.

I thought I remembered reading something about a place on the dock in Ketchikan that sells great halibut from a stand. Is this correct and if so, does anyone know the name and specifically where it is?
