Just saw on the news that United lost some $545 million this first quarter, and plans to cut domestic capacity by 4 percent, retire 30 planes, eliminate 1100 jobs ... either end-2008 or early 2009. They say it's all due to skyrocketing fuel costs.

Another record day for oil

With roaring inflation and slowing growth in the far east and around the globe at some point the speculators are going to be left suprised and demand will flatten and we'll see oil and fuel drop alot :D

Will oil drop to 50 bucks and we see 2 dollar gas again soon, not likely.
