sunshine0503 Posted April 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2008 We need to book our flights from Detroit to San Juan for Feb 1, 2009. I'm sure as the time comes, Spirit may offer a dirt cheap deal, as they usually do... but I don't want to wait it out with all of these airlines jacking up prices for fuel and extra bags... So what is the cheapest website you've found for airfare? Thanks!
Flip2cruise Posted April 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2008 http://www.kayak.com is a good website to check.
Nidwaldner Posted April 23, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 23, 2008 http://www.sidestep.com and http://www.itasoftware.com BUT buy at the airline websites. Always check one-way fares for the outbound and return too. Really, I've saved a bunch that way. Just got my one-way outbound to Seattle-San Juan on US Air and one-way return on Airtran and saved $100.

tiyana4 Posted April 25, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Check out Yapta dot com. Not only will it track any one-way and/or roundtrip fares that you choose to watch but they will email you with any price reductions once you have purchased the tickets. It's just like getting a price drop on your cruisefare and getting OBC. Just be sure to purchase your airline tickets direct from the airline in the event the price drops. I just received a $30 travel voucher from United when my ticket price dropped.

How do we get the airline to give us the flight at the new lower price??? Sounds too good to be true!;) Lobster129
