We're also booked at CS for Oct. 11. Did you get a good rate? I booked SO rate and will be paying $190(inclusive of all charges) for the two of us. I'll keep checking all options for better deal, but don't feel the $190 is too bad. What ship are you sailing on?

did u call for the SO rate? or did you have a link? the link posted here no longer works?? do tell :)

thanks!

Hello everyone - I am checking on the Comfort Suites to get into Atlantis waterpark. We are two adults with 3 kids ages 8, 9, & 14. The website says no more than 4 to a room. Could I just book one room and then get the 5 wrist bands from Atlantis? How do they know how many are in a room when you show them the room key to get bands?

Thanks for your help!

We are on the Carnival Imagination.

I don't know how to do this but go to the thread "Comfort Suites Help" by cshgoerge, post #8. That person posted the Comfort Suites website using the LPGA rate which is cheaper that the AAA rate. We are 4 adults so our rate is $228 + taxes so about $256.

The LPGA rate, I believe, is considered the Signficant Organization rate. This is the same rate I booked with. So considering we are paying $190 for the two of us, your rate of $256 sounds great. Does this include the additional $12/pp CS automatically adds to the final charges(this is $8.00/pp energy surcharge and $4.00 housekeeping charge)? What time is the Imagination in port that day? We are booked on the Fascination and have a full day(8 a.m.-10 p.m.) so we will get plenty of time at the Atlantis.

The Imagination is in Oct 11 from 8 am to Sunday 5:30 am. It is only a 3 day cruise.

Comfort Suites conformation receipt shows $256.20 includes taxes of 12%. We believe we have to pay the surcharges of $8 + $4/pp at hotel.

You can only get 4 per room. From what I have read Atlantis is very strict with this policy and they are the ones that issue the wrist bands. I think your best bet is to book 1 room for 4 people and book 1 person on the excursion through the cruiseline (unless a second room will cost you less than $150/night).

We are sailing on the Glory to Nassau on April 10,20090. We are arriving at 10 am and leaving at 4 pm. In my family their is me, my wife, 16 and 14 yo sons. I have searched all over and the best rate I can find at Comfort Suites is $369 ($415 after taxes) Additionally, I have read the the threads that say you need to allow an hour to get back to the ship. The price seem high after looking at all of the threads. Anyone have any suggestions? Is the higher rate because thatday is Good Friday? Last question, is the resort worth the $415 for 6 hours?

For those of you that have used Comfort Suites and gone to Atlantis, are the wristbands for adults and children different or the same? I don't know yet exactly how many of each will be going to Atlantis but I wanted to book the rooms.

Is everyone sure Atlantis still allows Comfort Suite people to come over there? I read somewhere that they would not allow CS people to come over if it was too many Atlantis guests already there.

Where is the CS located? i.e closest to which Atlantis buildings? Looking on the Atlantis map, it is not there of course, but I was just wondering where it was. I think someone said near the Coral Towers.

We are there on Carnival Victory and the ship is in port overnight so we can actually have part of 2 days there.

Hi- i just got back from Atlantis/Comfort suites. The hotel is right across the street from Atlantis and like 5-10 min walk. We checked into CS at 11 and we satyed at Atlantis until 5. they are strict with the wrist bands. We had two rooms and 9 people and I had to get one wristband at Atlantis. They have a desk in the Beach Towers that sell them. it was $105. for all access pass. Booking CS i got the 8 wristbands for roughly $70. each which was better then the $159. RCI was charging. I even saw an Atlantis employee trolling the beach asking to see wristbands from people in the water swimming. the place is huge and we walked so much that day-lockers are far away from where you begin and a can of beer is $7.00! they do not use any cash at most of the venues there so bring your card if you intend to purchase anything. i felt like it would take days to see the whole place. the best thing is the water slide where you ride a tube thru plexiglass tunnel surrounded by sharks! fantastic!!

Here is what I am confused about...we are sailing to Nassau on a Thursday the ship docks at 7:00 am and overnights there. It doesn't leave Nassau until the following night at 2:00 a.m. We are a family of 7 and to buy the cruise Atlantis package is very expensive for us. I see that I can book the overnight at the Comfort Suites but I am concerned about the hours of use. If I can't check in until 3:00 pm. on that Thursday and we check out at 11:00 a.m. the next day are we only able to use Atlantis during those hours? Ideally we would like to show up at the comfort suites around 11:00 a.m. Thursday use it all day and again all day the next day is that possible? I appreciate any advice.

Just got back yesterday from cruise on Sovereign of the Seas. I had booked a room for three adults at CS-Paradise Island about a month ago. I did not use a discount code when booking. My email confirmation quoted $210 for the room. After checking out the total came to $253 for three persons including the add-on charges mentioned on their website. This is $85.00 per person versus $159 per person on RCI excursion.

Took a cab/van from cruise terminal to CS for $4 per person. We checked in at CS at 11:00 am. There is a room near the front desk at CS where you can leave your things until your room is ready at 3pm. (however, they don't give you a receipt or hat check so when you return you just get your bag without proof. There was a security man in the room, but it appeared anyone could have taken your bag.) Don't forget to bring an extra bag to haul your sunblock, hats, flipflops, etc to Atlantis. (Lockers are available at Atlantis waterpark for $4 and up. Locker key must be turned in by 6pm or there will be a $40 charge.) We took a 10 minute walk to Atlantis to the Coral Towers. Had some trouble following their directions, but finally was told to go outside to the waterpark to show our hotel charge cards (one per person) to get a wristband. We got the wristbands at a towel shack. Towels are included so don't worry about bringing one from the ship.

Although we did not snorkel there, the attendant at the snorkel hut did offer a reduced price for the snorkel and mask (regularly $55, but went down to $40 when asked). You buy, not rent. So bring your own if you have them.

We stayed at the waterpark and beach area until about 6:30-7pm and got very sunburned. Be smart and reapply sunblock throughout the day. Walked back to CS and got our key and cleaned up. Walked back to Atlantis to view The Dig (indoor aquarium) which was awesome. Casino, high-end shopping and fine dining was abundant. Took a cab from Atlantis ($4/pp)back to downtown and got dropped off at Hard Rock Cafe. Then walked to Senor Frogs. Walked about two long blocks back to ship at 11pm for 11:30 sailing. All in all, our family enjoyed the day and would repeat it again. However, I would not spend the money to do Atlantis/CS if I didn't have at least 6 hours at Atlantis. The next time I would get up earlier and get to Atlantis earlier in the day to explore other things we missed. This place is huge and requires a lot of walking.

We are overnighting in Nassau too and I wondered about that as well. I had emailed the CS and asked if we would be able to go over the Atlantis the next day for awhile after breakdfast and they said yes, the wristband was good for both days. So I am assuming once you get a wristband you can go all you want.

Do you know whether we are allowed to stay off the ships all night or if you have to return before morning?

Could you be more specific about the CS location in relation to Atlantis? i.e. across from Atlantis at the casino, at the marina, etc. I am trying to get a bead on where it is at when looking at the map of Atlantis.

Were the wristbands for adults and children different looking or are all the wristbands the same?

Ummmm, nobody answered my question so let me try this once again.

We will be on the NCL full day shore excursion to Atlantis in September. Is there any place to keep a bag, cameras, etc. while we are enjoying the slides and other ammenities?

I gathered from what I've read here that towels are provided and it is not necessary to bring those from the ship.

Thanks for any help...

Lockers are located infront of Mayan pool, next to the entrance to the Current( lazy river). We just came back from Atlantis three weeks ago. We just put our beach bags on the lounge chair by the pool. We didn't have any valuables, but cameras were in.

All wristbands are the same for adults and chidlren. Same wristbands for CS guests and Atlantis guests.

If you book at comfort suites, does it give you full access to Atlantis or just the waterpark? Does it allow you the explore the hotel and other areas or does it just give you access to the waterpark?

You recieve the full benifits , just as if you were a guest at the Atlantis resort.

Our group of four of us from my office, are doing the CS thing with Atlantis at the end of September, provided one of the upcoming hurricanes leaves it intact. I totally understand that we have complete access to the Atlantis Resort, i.e. waterpark, beach, etc. However, if we want to snorkel (we have our own equipment) can we do that there?? Would be allowed to Dolphin Cay to do that, or would there be a charge?? Do they have scuba excursions (not yet certified) at the Atlantis Resort??? Thanks for your help. Anxious to get there and see what all the excitement is all about. Taking my daughters and two granddaughters there as well as lots of others for a mommy n me cruise same time next year. Therefore, I really wanted to check this out ahead of time for everyone's sake. Who knows, maybe I will talk hubby into doing it as well next year.....or sooner!!!!! Do they do anything special at the Resort for NEW YEARS EVE???

I have a room booked for our upcoming trip in Dec. Im wondering if we have to go back to CS to check out, or can we just leave Atlantis? I have no intentions of charging anything to the room...just wondered if we would save time by doing this or are we required to go back to check out ?

Thanks...:)

We just got back from our cruise on the SENSATION....LOVED IT!!! As I said, we booked Comfort Suites online and then went to Atlantis - for four of us...it was $285.80 (They add on an Energy Surcharge even though you don't use the room). When we checked in at CS, the reservations attendant asked if we needed keys or were just headed to Atlantis, so we did not need to go back to CS afterwards. Good thing as ATLANTIS is crazy!!! HUGE!!! It would have taken FOREVER TO FIND OUR WAY BACK THERE!!!! Took us forever to find our way out of AquaAdventure but well worth every minute and penny paid!!!! The resort was out of maps, so we had to wing it. GREAT EXCURSION!!! Looking forward to going back in a few months; and again in a few months after that, and again and again...LOL!!!!

Enjoy your time there, cause it goes by quickly!!!!!
