I can't think of one that is downtown any more the cloest one would be Mountain Equipment Co-Op which is up at 130 W Broadway, just out to the downtown area, about a $15 cab ride each way.

not on the same scale as Mountain co-op of course but there is a Sports Check in the Pacific Center. Ground floor entrance off Howe between Pender and Dunsmuir. Not far from Canada Place actually.
