Parrotgirl Posted June 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2008 Does the fact that a D1 cabin is a connecting one have any affect on the room? I know that the door has to be placed somewhere. We've sailed in D1 cabins before but never had one that connected to another cabin. We wanted one on the hump and it was all that was available. Yes - I'm waitlisted for a non-connecting one. We'll be in 9594, in case that makes a difference.
cb at sea Posted June 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2008 It may make a difference in the size of the sofa--but that should be about it!
Parrotgirl Posted June 15, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted June 15, 2008 Thanks and that's what I was afraid of. We like having the full sofa, which is why we always book a D1 instead of an E1. Maybe my waitlist will come through.
serene56 Posted June 20, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2008 The door is located down by the balcony door. Some cabins have two chairs instead of the sofa. IF you have noisy neighbors--- you could hear through the door. Hopefully you wont have the kids from some other cabin next door.
wrp96 Posted June 20, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2008 I believe on the Radiance class, the connecting door is at the foot of the bed, therefore you still get the full size sofa.
