Need Help Re Brimstone Hill Fortress

I didn't think it was too bad. Maybe this picture will give you an idea. It was taken from the parking lot:

If you take your time going up (5-10 mins.at the most!)

the views at the top will reward you.

 

My wife opted to stay down below

pleading arthritis and the effect the climb would have on her knees.

This one should help you make the decision about the climb(it has steps every now and then).

 

By the time you get to the top

you're something like about 850 ft. above sea-level,

as is obvious from this photo looking towards St.Eustatius

Yes the walk up is a bit steep but unless you are actually disabled you should be able to do it. I did it - slowly and stopping for rests and I have asthma and arthritis. And it is definitely worth it.
