CozSally Posted October 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2004 Does the Oosterdam remain on Eastern time or change to match the port time? I live in Cozumel and am trying to arrange an appointment with a client coming in December. Thank you,
doone Posted October 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2004 My experience has been that the ships time changes to the port time.
HeatherInFlorida Posted October 16, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2004 When we sailed last December to Cozumel, we had moved the clocks forward the first night from EST. In other words, your time in Cozumel would be the ship's time.
Himself Posted October 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 16, 2004 I always find HAL time is the time of the zone they are in. If the Port is an hour east of Eastern time they are on that time, if the Port is central time, they are on Central time. If the Port is on Alaskan time, the HAL ship is on Alaskan time. (FYI: Alaskan Time is one hour behind Pacific time. Himself
