Texas_Diver Posted July 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 14, 2008 We have usually left on a Sunday and the prior Friday is always my last working day. D.
Arizona Laura Posted July 14, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 14, 2008 I am never truly 100% "checked in". I do my job well but my mind and heart are aways somewhere else between my calls. It's called daydreaming. I need 2 days off before I go anywhere if I can swing it. Laura
ladybug97 Posted July 14, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 14, 2008 LOVE IT!! That is too cute! I'm so busy packing and getting ready I'm really not sure how much my head is really into working the entire week before?! And NEVER is my mind back to work when I get back!!! Kwynot Posted July 25, 2008 #15 Share Posted July 25, 2008 Thank goodness for the countdown clock. It keeps me "in check" to not rush the date - since that means summer must end :( and we come right up to Christmas:eek:

karmacruiser Posted July 26, 2008 #17 Share Posted July 26, 2008 I don't think I'm every fully checked in but I am almost always logged in to cruise critic so maybe that balances things out somehow. This year I am working the morning before our flight leaves but we are arriving in San Juan two days before the cruise. Only 140 more days! mom2girls Posted July 26, 2008 #18 Share Posted July 26, 2008 All I can say is thank goodness I'm a teacher. Since that's the case I only have to be checked in about 9 months out of the year. I have been known to work the day before I leave on a cruise though. As a teacher I really can't take too many "school" days off. I usually cruise during the breaks. raytownlady Posted July 27, 2008 #19 Share Posted July 27, 2008 Like everyone else; I'm always checked into my upcoming cruise. Work is just something that fills the time and of course supports my cruise addiction.
