B2B Cruises

Recommended Posts

Here's another variant of how the website messes up B2B's. I had an existing cruise. The website had no problems with this cruise. I later added a cruise to the end of the first cruise, using the B2B desk to link them properly. As I expected from reading the boards, I could not add the second cruise to My Cruises. I was able to use the backdoor (thanks to CC) to complete the Set Sail info for the second cruise. Here's the thing that surprised me - I can no longer access the first part of the B2B on the website. It shows up in my list of reservations, but when I click on it, I get the error: "We are unable to retrieve your reservation. Please contact customer service".

This is the situation that I am in with my upcoming Majesty B2B.

We did a B2B on Majesty in January and will do another next week. We were and are in the same room for both legs. On the last day of the first leg, we wreceived instructions for the next day and new Seapass cards. We met at the library and watched everyone else leave the ship. After that, we were escorted off the ship, quickly went through customs, waited for about 10 minutes while they cleared the ship and got back on board. It was real quick.

Any other questions?

Do you remember what time you were told to meet in the library?

Did your cabin steward let you go back into your cabin, or did you have to stay out until after 1?

I've always just booked my B to B's like regular reservations online and both show up fine. Right before final pmt. when I transfer to a TA, I call RCCL and ask for the B to B dept, tell them I'm doing a B to B and then transfer to TA. I haven't had a problem yet doing it that way.

Thanks for the tip. Just so I understand, do you transfer the unlinked bookings to the TA first, wait for the transfer to complete, and then call the B2B desk and link? Or do you link first, and then transfer to the TA? Re-reading your post, I think it's the latter, but please confirm.

I like to access both bookings on the website as long as possible because I like to book the excursions just before final payment.
