Yet another review of D822 2nd - 10th Aug!

Recommended Posts

Gratz, I did just what Geoff suggested, and Googled deck plans for Regal Princess. I then went through deck by deck and crossed off all the cabins on my P&O brochure that show a 4 berth cabin that used to be 2 berth on RP. There aren’t many left that were originally 4 berth. It’s probably best to do this sooner rather than later as I expect that the TA’s won’t leave the RP plans online forever.

Just for reference if they ever disappear - here are the original 4 berth Regal Princess cabins (upper bunks retract into the ceiling)

Insides:

CAT I – Baja deck B107, 108, 111, 112, 116, 117, 120, 121, 124, 125, 128, 129, 132, 133, 136, 137, 290, 294, 295, 299

Outsides:

CAT DD – Caribe deck C226, 229, 230, 233, 234, 237, 238, 241, 242, 245, 246, 249, 250, 253, 254, 257

CAT D – Dolphin deck D166 to D179 inclusive

CAT E – Emerald deck E109, 110, 114, 115, 134, 135, 138, 139, 142, 143, 144, 146 to 153, 155

CAT E – Plaza deck P188 to P195 inclusive

Thanks for taking the time to do this Geoff! I did think about it, but hadn't quite got round to it - may never have done either! :o

This will be a big help to those curious about the layout of their cabins. I was surprised when I looked over my 'updated' deck plan just how few 4 berths RP had, especially insides.

Yes, I agree jo, thanks heaps Geoff for taking the time to do this, it must have taken you ages!

Thanks also Jo for uploading the photos so that everyone can clearly see a cabin.

It's in interesting that Karen and Emma said that the other 4 berths were quite roomy, so perhaps yours had much more storage added than the others. It's really all a bit of a mystery!
