ldpkp Posted August 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I just booked a cruise on RCCL in October out of Boston to Bermuda on Jewel of the seas through internet. When I went online to the RCCL website it wasn't posted so I called the travel agent and they told me it was a chartered cruise. Then I called RCCL and they told me chartered cruises are very common and indeed this ship was chartered. What does this mean? Thanks in advance. uksimonusa Posted August 27, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2008 It means that a group has rented the entire ship for that cruise, canins on a chartered cruise can only be purchased from the company, group that chatered the ship.
bethco Posted August 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2008 You can find the charter if you google Jewel of the Seas Boston Bermuda. Since we can't mention Travel Agencies by name you'll have to look it up yourself.
Julma Posted August 27, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2008 Karen - In the roll calls section there is a thread on this cruise specifically. There I think you will find some valuable information.
