J&SLowery Posted April 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 14, 2004 Yes it is still warm. It's always warm during the day in the Caribbean. For the most accurate information on your itinerary, go to weather.com and do a search for the weather on each of your ports of call. You can link to the "averages and records" page for each port. I think you'll find that the average temp in most ports will be in the upper 70's- low 80's with lows in the 60's at night that time of year. Honey's Gal Posted April 14, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 14, 2004 If you look below, you will see we always, with the exception of Alaska, cruise in October. It is perfect weather. We have never had a cold day, a rainy season, anything that would take away from having the best vacation ...... Happy cruising. Nanatravel Posted April 14, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 14, 2004 We have often cruised the last week of October or the first week in November. Rates are good and the weather other than a brief shower is favorable. You will get plenty of beach time. If a late season hurricane or disturbance does occur, the Capt. will reposition the ship. You do take a slight chance but any cruise is well worth it. jenjes3 Posted April 14, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 14, 2004 We have went on 3 cruises in November.. Twice the weather wasn't that good. Recently went on the Serenade of the Seas in November and the weather was very rainy for the first 3 days... We also went on the Voyager a couple of years ago and experienced the end of a hurricane. The one time the weather was ok was when we did the Southern on the Granduer... So, now I really don't want to sail at that time. Though the prices are good, you are taking a chance on bad weather... Just my opinion... For our next cruise we are think about January.. Hope the weather is better then! magicolor_girl Posted April 15, 2004 #10 Share Posted April 15, 2004 I cruised for the first time last October and found the weather to be perfect. Cruised again in January and found it rainy and "chilly" even tho I left temps of 30 or less at home!
quote:
Originally posted by jenjes3: We have went on 3 cruises in November..
