Has anything changed in the past 4 years? The two times we went (there was about an 18 month gap), the only thing that had changed was the menu, for better, thank goodness.

 

Any other changes in the past 4 years? Castaway Cay?

Well they've added the big movie screen by the pool so you can swim and watch movies. They just replaced all of the little TVs on the Magic with flat screens. I know some of the shows have changed on the ships but they still do some of the old ones, too. I'm sure someone else will pop in here with details! On Castaway Cay they have one of the ships from Pirates of the Caribbean sitting out in the water where the ship docks. They also added stingray feeding as an excursion at CC in the past few years.

 

Overall it's still the same atmosphere on the ships. The kids are treated fabulously and they cater to them like no other line.

Probably the last time you went, the Teen Club was still on Deck 9. Now, it's been moved to one of the stacks and in it's place is a cool coffee bar/reading kind of place.

 

There is also a "Pirates In the Caribbean" party, complete with swashbucklling pirates, Pirate characters, and Fireworks. The Sail-Away party has also been re-done.

 

If you have kids, they are now giving away DCL-U t-shirts at the end of the cruise through the Kids Clubs, and there is a neat graduation ceremony in the theater.

The fee for Palo has gone up slightly from $10 to $15.
