david08 Posted October 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2008 hey everyone! Well, my group keeps getting bigger and it should be fun! We now have 11 people going on our cruise in January on the Carnival Triumph. (10 adults and one 2 y/o)...can we still fit all of us at one table for dinner? Usually the only time we can get all of us together, so would be nice! Couldn't we sit at a long table with a high chair at the end? Has anyone else done this before? Thanks! BigMember Posted October 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2008 We now have 11 people going on our cruise in January on the Carnival Triumph. (10 adults and one 2 y/o)... The largest table that I'm aware of is a round 10-top (seating for 10) table. A high-chair or booster seat takes as much room as a regular seat. It would be a tight squeeze with elbow to elbow seating but I bet they would accommidate you. You may have to visit the Maitre'D to get this arranged. dan40 Posted October 1, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2008 We had 11 on the Pride, some were kids but all over 8 or 9 yrs. And the waiter Chubby and assist. Natasha were the best of any cruise. Dan
kcparrothead Posted October 1, 2008 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2008 The table next to us on the Legend had around 12 people sitting at it. Looked like they put two of our size together (ours held 6 of us.)

VentureMan_2000 Posted October 1, 2008 #11 Share Posted October 1, 2008 My bet is you will be assigned two tables of 8. But there is nothing to say you can't all switch around your seating between the two tables. Heck, I switch around our seating at our assigned seating, just to switch up the conversations. PINEVIEW01 Posted October 1, 2008 #12 Share Posted October 1, 2008 Interesting, I had thought 10 was the limit without useing two tables. Learn something new everyday here:D
travel girl23 Posted October 2, 2008 #13 Share Posted October 2, 2008 We had a table for 10 on the Elation and we squeezed 11 around it. And, we were not all sailing together. Only 6 of us were together. And, we were all adults (no children). It was very cozy but do-able.

Morcruisin4Fun Posted October 2, 2008 #18 Share Posted October 2, 2008 We are a group of 12 and I spoke with my Carnival PVP and he told me that when we all booked, he requested a table for 12. It can be done, they just put tables together but they need to be told ahead of time.
Ken076 Posted October 2, 2008 #19 Share Posted October 2, 2008 Make sure your TA/PVP "Links" all your bookings/cabins to assure same Dining seating (which should improve your chances of a large table) . Then check all your S&S cards at check-in and if not what you wanted, head for the Dining Room & Maitre D' ASAP on boarding. ken
