BlueBayou08 Posted December 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Your help please in booking a mini-suite or balcony stateroom. Completely covered balcony is a must. Also sometime ago, I think I read here that Princess was to change the beds (better mattresses), what that just a rumor?
LuvTheGoodLife Posted December 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Your only choice for a fully covered balcony for a mini-suite is the few mini-suites on Emerald deck. ALL the mini-suites on Dolphin deck have no balcony ceiling cover. If you choose an Emerald deck mini-suite, make sure to mark your booking as "do not upgrade" as upgrades are common and they will all be to Dolphin deck, with its uncovered balconies. For regular balcony cabins - the following decks have fully covered balconies - Lido, Riviera, Aloha, Baja. Caribe deck has partly covered balconies. Your covered balcony will be sized 9 ft wide x 5 ft deep on Lido, Riviera, Aloha and Baja decks. Your balcony on caribe will be sized 9 ft wide x 9 ft deep and have ceiling cover over the first 5 ft. of depth. Hope this helps. Enjoy your cruise! Thanks!
