1tonysmom Posted November 8, 2004 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2004 Hi. We are going on the Glory in less than 3 weeks. Carnival emailed me a list of the shore excursions for the Eastern Caribbean (Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Martin) with prices. If anyone wants it, please email me at tonysmom@tampabay.rr.com and I will forward the Carnival email on to you. Happy cruising. Joanne :)

torybruno Posted November 9, 2004 #6 Share Posted November 9, 2004 Just wondering if anyone can verify if these prices are current? They actually seem a little underpriced to me!
mysticalblues Posted November 9, 2004 #7 Share Posted November 9, 2004 Don't know if your interested, be we took a taxi over to the Atlantis and rented a day room. $150 for the room. They allowed 4 people in the room and we were able to use all the property, waterslides, pools, beaches.
kdickers Posted November 9, 2004 #8 Share Posted November 9, 2004 Renting a room at Atlantis would be GREAT . . . that's what I'm sure my daughter would want so she could "swim" etc!! How did you set this up?? Just called Atlantis and made a reservation or what?? Kim
1tonysmom Posted November 9, 2004 #9 Share Posted November 9, 2004 Hi Karen. I am pretty sure the prices are current. I just got a list emailed to me from Carnival and I think the prices are the same. Happy cruising. Joanne :)
jerseygirl3 Posted November 10, 2004 #10 Share Posted November 10, 2004 Mystical, when was it that you did this? The reason I ask is because my understanding is that they have stopped doing this because so many Atlantis customers balked at the incredibly high prices they were paying to stay there, and yet they were offering this deal to cruise ship passengers, and the place was becoming overrun with cruise ship passengers. Victrola Posted November 10, 2004 #11 Share Posted November 10, 2004 I have a current list we got on 10\28 on board Celebration. The prices are within a few dollars of what is shown above. We were told some good info on Atlantis and did not take the ship run Excursion. We took a taxi to Atlantis for 4 dollars per person and then paid 29. for the tour of the underwater exhibition. They gave us a wrist band and we went to most of the places on the hotel grounds. The beach was closed the day we were there due to rough seas. Once we got back to the dock we found a local tour group that offered round trip and the tour for 29.00 per person. Pays to shop around. We wanted to shop the straw market so saved time to do that before we returned to the ship. The markets do close down at 530 in the evening. mysticalblues Posted November 10, 2004 #12 Share Posted November 10, 2004 Jerseygirl3, I was just on the Miracle that stopped in Nassau on 10/28. Kdickers, we had called the Atlantis to verify that Comfort Suites guests were allowed to use the Atlantis property. First phone call, they did not tell us about the day rooms. The second call the person suggested the day room as it would be much cheaper. They would not allow us to book it in advance, but said to go that day and ask for it. We got 2 rooms and the person infront of us in line got 1 room. A day room is a regular hotel room. Our rooms were a bit of a walk from the exit to the waterslides, but we didn't care. If you do this, a few words of advise----They make you take off jewelry, watchs and unsecured sunglasses when going on the slides. Also, the room keys are deactivated by water, so don't get them wet. The told us after the fact that there were locker (never saw them) to put stuff in.
