Is Tour-Beijing.com OK?

Hi,

 

My wife and I want to do a one day trip from Beijing down to Xi'an to see the terra cotta warriors and tour-beijing.com has a package that runs $430 a person and includes pick up at our hotel in Beijing, tround trip airfare between the two cities, and pickup and tour of terra cotta warriors and Xi'an wall in Xi'an. I just want to verify that this is a reputable tour company prior to booking. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

How many days do you have in Beijing? Unless you have at least a week in Beijing - I would just do the highlights of Beijing such as the GReat Wall, Forbidden City, Sumer Palace, Hutongs etc...

 

If you want to go to Xian plan at least 2 days there... a 1 day return trip out of Beijing is just too short IMO - we took a whole day to go see the Terracotta Warriors and we were in Xian...the site is not right in the city but rather quite a long drive away (if I remember correctly about 2 hours)

We are taking the over night sleeper train to Xian - it will save us the hotel for one night. Our Beijing Guide takes us to the train and our Xian guide picks us up at the train.
