cruzndiz Posted January 6, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Hey! I just noticed that the Navigator will be in Grand Turk the same time as us (Mariner) although arriving an hour later. Would they ever let us look on board the Navigator to check out the ship?
Travelcat2 Posted January 6, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2009 We had the same situation, but, asked too late. Apparently your TA has to arrange something in advance. We also wanted to visit a Seabourn ship, but, the rules and regulations were too crazy. I understand the security issue, but, the cruise lines seems to want to make it impossible. neviboy Posted January 6, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Two years ago we were on Voyager with Navigator docked next to her. Announcements were made that by showing our ID card we could board Navigator. Suggest this to the C.D.
Wendy The Wanderer Posted January 6, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2009 If the two ships are there together for a substantial amount of time, no doubt they will have tenders visiting back and forth. Mariner and PG did this recently in Bora Bora.
canadagal Posted January 6, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 6, 2009 I just asked this same question of my TA, 4 days ago and she said that there is nothing that has to be arranged......just go and show your boarding card so they can swipe it and let you on the ship. We plan to do the same thing on an upcoming Regent cruise. Pat
