Roll Call Seabourn Spirit 15-11-2009 Lisbon-Ft. Lauderdale

We visited Spirit tonight at dusk at her customary berth in Lisbon (Estacio Maritima da Rocha Conde de Obidos) she was looking good -from our vantage point behind the security fence- and they removed the gangplank while we were there, and crew were at the hawser stations, and the external bridge was active, making us suspect the Spirit may have been about to undergo some last minute ´sea trials´ tonight. After all, you don´t rewire the Bridge and then just put to sea for an Atlantic Crossing.. We hope.. :p

We had to leave as Lisbon´s nightlife was calling, we were only there as a ´dry-run´ anyway, to make sure that was where she was berthed... the only information was hitherto from CC-ers on this board. We have had nothing from Seabourn regarding berth info, and no docs reached us for either cruise at our addresses in Sydney OR Scotland, which we advised well ahead of time. Not happy with back of house responsiveness so far... but so long as the shipboard team come through for us, who cares! :D

Counting down the minutes now... P.S. Lisbon is enchanting, and worth a visit in its own right, come to think of it, we could happily live here... sooo laid back, which is quite unique for a modern European capital!
