Oasis or Allure for 2010

We booked the Oasis for Sept 2010 but with Allure coming out the same year maybe prices will drop since they will be competing with each other. Sister ships both leaving out of Ft Lauderdale and probably going to the same ports. Does anyone know if Oasis had price incentives when they first started bookings??

I don't think so... but maybe someone else can answer more definitively.

I can add this: We booked our cruise on Liberty (her 4th voyage) during Freedom's inaugural season for the following summer... Liberty was CONSIDERABLY less expensive, no exaggeration. It probably had something to do with supply and demand -- people were booking Freedom like crazy because Freedom was the name that was out there that everyone was hearing. That's just my theory, but I'd keep an eye out for the same thing when checking Allure prices during Oasis' inaugural season.

(The Liberty cruise was early-mid June, fyi... I know season and time of year affect demand).

I noticed the same thing, we were on Liberty's 20 week or something like that and it was much cheaper than the Freedom, by about 300-400! So of course we went on the Liberty. My opinion is that this will be similar with the Allure, it's catching the pricing at the right time that will be the trick, keep checking on a daily basis. No idea however when the Allure is to set sail.

As C&A members, DH & I had the opportunity to book our Oasis cruise back in August '08. As an example, we had been priced 1k cheaper for a JS for the 1/2/10 sailing. DH & I are booked for an OS.
